OBS Medical has successfully obtained the MDMA certificate of Saudi Arabia

On December 7, 2024, the electrosurgical pads of OBS(Baisheng) Medical successfully obtained the MDMA certificate from Saudi Arabia. 

On December 29, 2024, the defibrillation electrode of OBS(Baisheng) Medical successfully obtained the MDMA certificate from Saudi Arabia.

On February 2nd, 2025, the electrosurgical generator & electrosurgical pencil of OBS(Baisheng) Medical successfully obtained the MDMA certificate from Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi MDMA certificate, with the full name of Medical Device Marketing Authorization, is currently the only compliant route for medical devices to be launched in Saudi Arabia.

As an important threshold and "pass" to enter the Saudi market, the application process for the MDMA certificate is complex and strict, covering multiple core dimensions such as product safety, effectiveness, quality control, and compliance.
